Founder Miranda Cobb started evolution in 2005 by buying price competitive fashion forward designs from suppliers. At the time there was a massive gap in the market and starting her first boutique store in Mt Maunganui cemented the evolution concept
As a trained fashion designer the need and want was always bubbling under the surface to fulfil her dream of designing and manufacturing the evolution brand and no longer buying from other suppliers. In 2014 that is what Miranda and her team did and now Evolution Clothing design and manufacture all their own designs
Fair trade and ethical working conditions is a top priority for us as a business and we are very excited that customers are now as invested in the ethical process as we are! All our clothing is designed in New Zealand and made in Indonesia by an amazing talented skilled team.
