Thunderbolt Surfboards are redefining what surfers can expect from epoxy performance. Where traditional pop-out epoxy boards often feel corky and stiff, Thunderbolt boards are entirely different. Hand-crafted using premium materials and proprietary engineering, they blend the flex and sensitivity of high-end polyurethane with the durability and precision of advanced epoxy—delivering a ride that many say feels even better than PU.
Each board starts with an EPS foam core and is custom-built using multi-component carbon fiber stringer systems. These internal frameworks are carefully tuned to deliver dynamic flex, twist, and drive, giving you explosive response underfoot. Internal carbon laminates are placed along the deck and bottom for precise flex control, strength, and longevity—far beyond what traditional constructions offer.
To reinforce durability without sacrificing feel, Thunderbolt uses a core shield PVC layer for flexible protection. Combined with carbon fiber and fiberglass in the deck, rails, and bottom, these boards not only outperform—but also outlast—most PU and pop-out epoxy boards on the market.
